Does what it is supposed to July 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to control a small heater that I have placed on the floor in a bathroom.
My wife and daughter were constantly unplugging it as the heater does not have a true "off" switch so would occasionally kick on because of central air and they are very energy conscious.
The last thing my stiff ole body wants to do is bend over to pick a cord up off the floor in the morning.
The electrical outlet is knee high on the side of a vanity so plugging this switch in works perfectly.
The on/off switch is the rocker type and is illuminated making it easy to verify whether it is off or on at a glance even in daylight.
It is rated for 15amps so is safely good to go for most uses.
If you have a use for a direct control plug adapter, this is the one to get in my opinion.
perfect solution January 12, 2008 I wasn't sure if a product like this existed, but it's exactly what I was looking for. It's the perfect solution for my puck lights (under kitchen cabinets) on the far counter. There's no switch for that side, and this is a perfect plug-in switch. No more having to plug in the light every time I want to use it.
