Worth Every Penny December 16, 2008 After stumbling upon this product I decided to give it a try. I usually take 3 chains at a time to be sharpened in in just one time the sharpener has already paid for itself. With the help of the other reviewers I was able to figure out how to make the sharpener work easily. Worth every penny.
Great Tool November 23, 2008 Haven't used it yet but it looks easy to use and will make sharpening my chain very easy... used to do it by hand this looks tons easier...
Believe what they say about sharp saws May 27, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
You know how they always say that sharpening more than makes up for the time it takes? Believe it. I was on the steep side of the learning curve with my Stihl, and when I bought this sharpener- it turned the saw into a beast. Evidently, I had not been sharpening quite right. I've been using the Dremel attachment for about 5 years, after every 2-3 tanks of gas. The saw cuts faster, with less strain on the saw and on ME.
Remember to set the depth gauge.
If you own a Dremel- buy this thing. Remember eye protection :)
Great Product once you get it dialed in. April 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The sharpener works great once you get it setup. It wasnt clear in my chainsaws manual what size chain I had, so a bit of guess work was required... Also, if you have any different chuck on the dremel, the item wont fit... so make sure you have the original small chuck.
Once I got it on, it worked easily and quickly, the guide helping greatly to line up and sharpen correctly.
Amazing November 30, 2007 If you own a dremel and do any chainsaw work or play keep your saw cain sharp it is fast and easy don't buy a new chain just sharpen the old one you will love the out come
