 Great miter saw stand June 27, 2010

I bought this stand at Amazon about a month ago and have used it almost daily since.The stand was easy to set up (about 10 minutes) and is very sturdy for my 12 inch Dewalt Saw "not a compound". I don't think you can beat it at twice the price.

The Denali stand is really very good for the price. Most of the stand I have seen for $200 are no better than this $100 stand. I have used it extensively and the only problem I have had is one of the screws which hold the roller fell out while I was moving it to a job site and I couldn't find it. Got a better screw at Lowes to replace it for about 80 cents and its better than new.

The stand arrived and was packaged very well. All the parts were present. The assembly was very minimal. The product works well with my Bosch compound saw. The saw slides easily across the rails. It's easy to unlock the saw from the stand, remove it, and relocate the stand. Putting the saw back on is a breeze .. the handles on the front lock it in place. The extensions work well, but on one of mine, the plastic-handled screw wasn't long enough to seat against the rail and lock the extension in place ... after cutting a few pieces too long, I realized the extension was moving. I had to find a longer screw to fit. Besides that, this stand was a good investment. Very easy to use. Very sturdy. I'd buy it again.

This was a very nice purchase. Free shipping also made the deal very attractive. My saw bolted right up to this stand and now I have a solid saw/table combination that is still portable. I haven't seen a comparable stand in the "big box" stores for anywhere near the price of this one. Plus, I didn't have to lug it home!

I purchased this after much deliberation. I wanted a stand to mount my Dewalt 10" compound saw and was torn between the excellent reviews I had seen for this very affordable stand, and one made by Dewalt. I took a leap of faith, and once again, the reviews by other Amazon purchasers did not disappoint!
I received the saw within 5 days of purchasing it. Just in time for the weekend! The box appeared pretty beaten up so I was apprehensive about what I would find inside. The stand was protected by styrofoam and heavy grade plastic and was in excellent shape. There were some obvious cosmetic flaws but they did not detract from the stand's good looks.
Out of the box, the stand was solid in feel. The four legs come pre-assembled to the main structure. There are 6 screw in knobls which mount the roller guide and stand release mechanism. It took me about 5 minutes to have the entire unit ready for the saw. Bolts are provided for standard miter saw attachment.
Final thoughts: The saw is a GREAT deal for the money. In no way, does this saw appear or feel "cheap". The miter saw I have, assembled to the standard using the standard carriage bolts (provided) and functions great. The best news is that I am finally off the floor!
I recommend this stand to anyone looking for a great deal for the money.
